Henry and I finally had a chance to take our friend, Debbie, out to dinner for her birthday, which was actually back in March. I had been sick that weekend and we have all been busy since, so it was well overdue. I was also finishing up the Zentangle class online with Marie Browning. I decided to combine a handmade birthday card with my final entry for the class. I'm still working on the card, but I'll give you a peek at it anyway. I've had so much fun making it, it'll be hard to give it up. What do you think? I can't wait until Marie's next class starts this week. Check it out through www.mycreativeclassroom.com.
P.S. I substituted the finished card.I'm linking up today with Pink Cricut. Check out the other paper arts.
This last week's lesson was on shading. I loved the ideas presented and am still working on perfecting my shading. I believe this will be a life-long endeavor. I'm finding that shading seems lighter when photographed. So, should I be more subtle for pieces that are just to be viewed in person and go darker for those pieces to be posted online? Sounds like a good idea for a project.
